Ahoy! We’re so excited to have unveiled our new game yesterday at the PlayStation Showcase yesterday. We’ve been hard at work creating the third instalment in the Cat Quest series and we are delighted to show you a little sneak peek at the game:
Cat Quest: Pirates of the Purribean is coming to PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC (via STEAM) in 2024.
You’ll take on the role of a swashbuckling purrivateer as you embark across a 2.5D pirate themed, open world.
The archipelago the game is set within is swarming with pesky Pi-rats searching for the Northern Star – a long-lost mythical treasure. You’ll take to your very own ship to travel the dangerous seas and seamlessly zip between the waves and the shore either as a solo adventurer, or alongside a friend in local co-op!
That’s right! You have your very own pirate ship! From firing cannonballs to shooting elemental shells, your ship will equip you with all the best pirate-worthy tools to defeat even the most furr-orocious foes.
Back on land, we have a newly refined combat system for you to master to help you to prevail over the Pi-rat hoards scurrying in every corner of the archipelago. There’s a whole litany of new weapons and spells to get your paws on, as well as an all-new weapon swapping mechanic which allows you to switch between weapons on the fly and create claw-some attack combos.
